Pioneer made the best TVs, until the chinese figured out how to make LED versions dirt cheap. Made TVs disposable afterwards.

Unless you live in Denver, plasma has the blackest screens for contrast and response time is not even close.
Biggest negative is weight, but how often are you moving your big screens around the house?

Another tech battle won by an inferior product. I recently learned that a big reason Betamax lost to VHS, was the absence of porn in the far superior Betamax format.

I’m still rocking my 10 year old Pioneer Kuro and it’s as good as most the tvs I’m selling.
The OLED is the only thing getting back to where plasma was.
