Seriously. If Heckler wanted to do that, ok. But Magic, that’s a sure fire way to have a rough day. This is the one race where I will throw a big cassette on in the back because that hill can be rough. Unless your gear is a MTB-esq 32 20, You’re basically going to have to run up the entire climb every lap. And it’s not a short climb.

This is a great reason to SKIP TH and do Bridgeton. Or intervals. It's gonna be really tough to a) be competitive or b) have fun on this course w/out gearz.

now all you need is a shifter, cassette and RD, I ran this as a second bike for a whole year on my all city and it was perfect. just dont flat.

How long until he rolls a self-glued tub, dumps it, and reverts back to an unintended single speed?

That hill made me buy a smaller front chainring btw. Bummed I'll be missing it this year.
