Hey everyone.
Up for sale is my 2016 Pivot Mach 429 Trail Pro XT/XTR 2X Carbon in Medium. Bike is White/Black/Orange in Color. The bike has roughly 500 miles on it and is in excellent shape with a minor paint chip on the swingarm (See photo). There is absolutely nothing wrong with the bike. I am looking to pick up a new bike for the coming season, so this bike has to go. Please note, the Stans wheels in the picture are not included. Brand new DT Swiss Spline-Two M1700 Boost wheels with be put on the bike with a Bontrager SE5 (rear) and Bontrager XR4 (Front) both used tires with plenty of life. The bike has been largely used on cross country trails and road. There are no cracks or repairs in the carbon frame or swingarm.

Quick specifications:
Fork: Fox 34 Factory - 130mm Kashima Boost 110QR
Rear Shock: Fox Float DPS Kashima (freshly rebuilt by Fox - 1 ride on it)

@chrisalecia , you would be correct. It would be for the new SL. For me, the trail was great in the beginning, but with my medical issues and such, the lighter and more agile SL is a much better fit for me right now. That might change in the future, but I need to go with what works. I have the non boost SL right now as my secondary bike, but I want to stick with boost wheels and Factory 34, so I am going to opt for the new SL as my primary bike.

Oh good! I was in a panic for a second. WHY would someone be selling. My 429 trail is on order with about 4 weeks or so to delivery. It's like waiting for my kids to hatch....

Dear @pooriggy , all other things being equal, will this bike be faster than my 2005 Enduro, and, if so, why? Please be specific.

as I mentioned in an earlier post, I am not usually an early adopter.

Without knowing the specs on your older Enduro I am going to say that all things being equal, meaning at the same fitness level the Pivot is probably .000012% faster . However the fun factor of riding new shit is like 80% greater then riding old shit.
Be warned, when you try a new bike, you will want to buy new bike.
