Rode Hillier than Thou in 2017, it kicked my butt. I think it may have been the heat as I remember it was around 90 that day. Ended up taking shortcuts, walking up half the hills the last 20 miles just to get back to the finish line. Too bad the ride was cancelled for this year so I ventured out on my own. Ended up adding few miles due to a bridge being out for a total of 112 miles with just over 13,000 ft. of climbing. Glad I got this under my belt (along with D2R2 180k route). I want to take it a bit easier next year as training for these big rides has been wiping out my weekends this summer.
