Selling my 2012 Giant XTC 29er 1 hardtail - converted to drop bars/brifters a couple of years ago. Great multipurpose bike suited for long distance road/gravel riding and trails (and bombing down Stompf Tavern Rd). Size is L/20" (original specs and geometry here: https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/xtc-29er-1-2012). Aluminum/alloy frame w/ 100mm RockShox Reba RL fork (15mm thru-axle). Willing to throw in a Bontrager 29er carbon fork (it's black and purple).
Upgrades include: Salsa Cowbell 2 44cm handlebars (w/ Lizard Skins DSP tape); Shimano 105 2x10 brifters; Shimano XT F/R derailleurs, 40/28 crankset, 11-36 10 speed cassette, and SPD pedals; TRP HY/RD cable-actuated hydraulic disc brakes; WTB Pure V saddle; Jagwire cables and housing. Currently set-up tubeless w/ Kenda Small Block 8 29x1.9 tires. Stem is 85mm.
I am the original owner of the bike - originally purchased from Halter's back in the Monmouth Jct days. Still in excellent condition, always garage kept, cleaned and lubed/maintained regularly. Selling because I have too many bikes - recently built up a 26" dirt drop touring bike, so don't have much of a need for this one anymore. Looking to get $1200 OBO. I'm located in Flemington.
