Rare and unique 1995 Trek Y 33 OCLV 19" Carbon Frame and bottom bracket. Color is "indigo" - a mix between blue and purple! Some average wear and tear (see pictures), but overall great shape for bike that is 23 years old. Super lightweight. Bottom bracket is in great condition, as well. Little to no rust. Durable Trek Quality & completely made in the USA! See picture as to what it looked like originally. Was a $3000+ bike back in the day - top notch.

I've seen people build crazy mountain bikes out of these, road bikes, and even electric guitars (I'm serious), so build your dream bike (or guitar) today!

$250 obo. Just send me a PM if interested. I'm located on South Shore Western LI, not from Queens/Belt Pkwy.

Thanks!

Are you sure that head tube is ok?

Yeah, I assume you mean the seat tube. It looks worse than it actually is. Structurally fine. Seat clamp goes over the unsightly part, and the rest is just the protective film peeling a bit.

Yes, the seat tube. I feel better that someones face will be ok and just their rear end will be ripped to shreds when that thing rips off.

If it means anything, he used to talk about you and the "Ride like Dean" monument often. I was fortunate to be one of the people he would share stories with. Before he passed away, he was getting back on the bikes again and said he still had the Y bike, but didn't intend to ride it much.

Sorry for the thread jack.
