    Mukluk Mechanical Question....

Hello, Brand new Mukluk 2, 40 miles on the clock. Today I noticed the pedal started to get a wobbly feel to it. Upon further inspection found it to be the crank had come loose. Luckily I had my Topeak wonder tool with me and was able to tighten the 8mm allen that holds in on...it came loose 3...

    Patch Kit, or Spare?

Just out of curiosity...Does everyone carry a patch kit? Or do you bring along a big ass spare tube when you ride? I'm new to the Fat Bike scene and after buying a couple spares, am amazed at their size and if I'd be better off just carrying a patch kit. Not looking to go tubeless(had bad luck...

    Note to Self....

Note to self...Try to remember not to be the first to ride the mountain bike trails in the AM...At one point early Monday morning I had 22 spiders hitching a ride, and my bike was white with webs! I swear some of the webs across the trail could've be used on a carrier deck to stop a jet! I even...

    Finally....

Finally broke the 2 hour mark for the orange trail!!! Actual time 1:57:44...Been trying for the past year, and today I did it! Of course my recent loss of 42 pounds had nothing to do with it, LOL! All kidding aside, this was a huge goal for me...next up...sub 1:45...is that even possible???

    Penn Branch today....

All is good, hit the PB around 10am (late start). Other than it being kinda hot and dry, trail conditions were great! No ticks or chiggers, but I did use a half can of 40% deet before I hit the trail. Saw a few rather large deer, but no cougars (unless you count the 50ish lady in the parking...
