I came upon this today and was very pleasantly surprised! When did this happen? And, thanks to whoever's responsible!

    Lost Saddle Bag

I was all over on both sides, so no idea where... It's been dangling like a saggy diaper, so my bad. But, there's some good stuff inside so it's worth a six pack reward if someone finds it. Thanks!

    Allamuchy or KVSP Today?

I'll be near the International Trade Zone for a quick meeting at 12 noon then have the rest of the day off. Anybody around interested in being a tour guide since I am unfamiliar enough to find my way around in these parks. You name the place. I can be available to roll by 1:30ish. I'll have...

Is "Goat" still a legit trail?

Jungle is one of my regular spots but I've noticed that Goat looks like it is rarely ridden. I do a loop where I go down Goat after climbing Fish so I can wind up back by Lower Chute. If it's don't suppose' ta be ridden no more then I'll stay off; but it is a fun trail.

Is Mavic Crossmax29 Convertable to Thru Axle Set-up?

I have a nice 1year old Mavic C29 Crossmax wheelset with Standard Quick Release Axles. The front wheel(that I've already bent) on my brand new '13 Superfly has 15mm thru axle up front. The question is; is it possible to make the conversion, or more importantly- is it worth it? :confused...

    Ass Pain;Graphic and Embarrassing

For the first time ever yesterday, I've experienced something I've only heard and read about. At about three + hours into yesterday's ride at Wayway, my butt cheeks began to feel like they had been belt sanded. Unlike what I've heard, the pain wasn't my 'taint, crack, or sphincter. I...

Be Careful Where You Store Your Bike

Desperate for some riding time, I've begun to work some commuting into my schedule. Since I work two jobs this is kinda tricky. I don't want to ride home @ 10:30PM after a 14 hour day. I have it all figured out and it's been working well.... Today, the guys at the day job found where...

    Kudos to Trek AND Cyclecraft

Blackie is resurrected! I am absolutely and pleasantly astonished. Going through Cyclecraft of Parsippany, Trek honored the lifetime warrantee on my 13 year old broken frame. They had it turned around and back to me in less than two weeks.

    R.I.P. Blackie

Blackie is(was) my 12 year old Trek Fuel 90. Yesterday while working some gnar at MD with the Bfat clan, the frame broke right at the top tube/seat tube juncture. We had to bail despite it starting as a very good ride for us(me and Blackie- that is). This was my first dual suspension...

    Just got back....BUT

Finally returned to the Mountain Bike after a long hiatus due to knee surgery. I had been doing the roadie thing for most of my re-hab, but was jonesin' for what only the trails could give me. Got the juices flowing again with a couple of good rides and feel like a new man. Now comes a...

Advice on Cycling Computer/Heart Rate monitors?

Recuperating from my knee surgery, I've had lots of time to catch up on my reading and I've heard(read) you guys talk about this; it seems that monitoring and working within appropriate heart rate zones is an instrumental element of an effective training program. I'm still at least two weeks...

    How's the snow riding here?

I'm one of those who really like RV. (I hear it's a love it or hate it kinda place) Since I am only getting out once a week now,I like to make it worth the while. How much snow fell and has anybody ridden there in such conditions? I'm off tomorrow and this is my first choice if I get good...

    Thursday Afternnoon and anytime Monday

    Bear

I don't think I've seen it mentioned here before. Saw a medium size bear just off the red trail closer to the Denville side of the park. It only scampered a few yards away as I passed then it stopped to watch me. I slowed down and looked cautiously to see if there were any others(cubs) but...

Does anyone know the course itself well enough to describe it from the park map or a link to it specifically? or Is anyone willing and available Tues or Thurs after work to give a tour? Thanks.
