Did it rain in this area yesterday?

It was on red right after the Red/Orange split coming from the 27 lot. I guess it wasn't the same spot as you but it wasn't too far

I was there Saturday and heard group being attacked by wasps or hornets in that same spot, right by the downed tree on red. I guess we just need to ride faster there now...

Does anyone know if there are other similar state mountain bike forums? I can make a list here if anyone wants to post a link to any

Thinking about checking this spot out in a few weeks. Does anyone have insight as to the type of riding here? Looks like mostly green trails on trailforks, are these just beginner trails?

Oh definitely don't want to be part of that group, just putting it out there to help ease the mind if you do get bit by a lone star

Just looked into this a little and seems like, although sample size is still small, they believe only a small percent of the population is at risk for the red meat allergy. A 2017 article quoted 1-2% of the population is at risk...(That may have changed since then but I need to get back to work...

I'd say between 18 to 24 inches in diameter, they are hefty

I was also out riding yesterday morning, saw the tree @Grampaaah mentioned as well as a tree down towards the beginning of the parking lot just before the first split
