came to say I was on the trails with @TommyF and a few others on here last night and the conditions were great!
saw a bunch of the recent tree work from @chainsawer and wanted to say thanks even if my rear wheel decided to pick a fight with a big stick (and lost) it was a great ride trails...
At least on my first ride back at Dickerson mine tonight since my crash in oct 2023, only the rear wheel needs urgent care and not me.
I’m honestly not even that frowny about it but it’s still a bummer.
Big stick:1. Rear wheel: 0
thanks! thats great intel for sure. Is this from the bmx museum thing you mentioned? seems like it might be worth the $25 to join just to see if I can get decent money for it.
and yes this one seems to be nearly all original except the grips, but I have the extra kit and number plates that...
things seem to be moving much faster now! is there an unofficial official move in target date - i would assume this would only be legit with a temporary CO?
all connected just doesn't sync. the app also sometimes acts weird because I have a Garmin watch thats always connected too.
so it shows "connected to iphone" but doesnt sync until i just reboot the garmin device. im so used to it it doesnt even bother me anymore and it happends maybe 1-2...
good news!
i have found occasionally when I am done with my ride, if it wont sync right away I just need to restart my Garmin 810 (with BT turned on) and then it works. this is more likely because the Garmin is a museum piece and 10+ years old LOL.
yeah prices are all over the place I have no idea what it could be really worth. I dont want to give it away for $100 to find it show up on antiques roadshow for $5000 tho LOL

Ew.

The backstory on this is a...

Sooo while I’d love to tell a great story about some radical MTB ride I did yesterday where I got smashed in the face but that’s sadly not true.
I was unloading a snowblower I got for cheap off my hitch cargo rack (yes a snowblower even if it won’t snow in NJ anymore) and coming down the...
