    Wildcat Ridge WMA Conditions

Saw three dirt bikers out there yesterday. There's no stopping those folks. Stinks about that bridge being out for so long. Taking blue out to meridan, across that bridge and up that trail that forks to the right was my preferred route.

    Reducers for fox float rp23

You guys crushed it when helping me with me broken axle so I'm back for round 2 of needing your assistance. I have what I think are called reducers for a shock on my 2011 niner. I see places that sell these but I'm just not sure about the sizing. There's no bushings or whatchamacallits...

Replacement axle for rear stans hub

Great googly moogly. Looking at the receipt for the wheel I sent them, it says "shimano/sram". Looks like they guessed wrong. Well I was able to get the axle through the existing free hub but boy was the one side tight. Probably not a good thing. So its just the cassette I'd need if I'd...

Replacement axle for rear stans hub

The plot thickens. Cue the intro to law & order (original series). So the free hub they sent me is on the bottom and the original on top. This can't be right can it? I see there's some threads on the new hub. Does something screw onto that. The cassette just wobbles around on the new hub...

Replacement axle for rear stans hub

TLDR: Stans custom service is probably as good as it gets. I submit my claim and get an email less than an hour later saying that not only are they going to send me the new steel axle, but a new freehub and shell bearings. Ok, I'm thinking that's awesome. Now I had already ordered the...

Replacement axle for rear stans hub

Very interesting. How long of a process are we talking? Bought the wheel from competitive cyclist on 3/2020; had the wrong year (its all bleeding together) but I think should still be under warranty. Its really in that price range where I don't mind just paying to have the bike working...

Replacement axle for rear stans hub

Its been less than a year so I'd think so but probably not worth the hassle for 20 bucks. I'd like to go with the steel suggestion as well so I don't have to deal with this again. Thanks for the help.

Replacement axle for rear stans hub

I think we have a winner. Good call on checking the part number. Part of it is illegible due to some wear, but I can see 1-125 which matches up with the picture. Definitely going steel. This aluminum one is so flimsy. Cost me a rear derailleur as well. Thank you thank you.

    Bike Lane....They Must Be Kidding!

I ride that road frequently. Another brilliant aspect of that road is they have those metal reflectors just inside the shoulder line on the road side. With the shoulder being a little banged up in spots, you're forced to ride even further in the road to avoid those reflectors. Otherwise, a...

Anyone ever ride Ballyhoura in Ireland?

Place looks pretty nice - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXhBOms_VSQ&index=1&list=FLDhJEJzdWvez-hoEoANAl7Q I was curious to know how it actually rides and whether I should add it to my list of places I'll probably never get around to riding.

    Pulled Over on Bike

Where did this happen? Some old guy flagged me down in a neighborhood in denville saying his house was robbed? He was pretty suspicious of me, but I found it funny that he thought a guy in spandex with nothing but a little tool bag and sweating his ass off was the one to rob him.

    New seatpost camera

Have the cord right where you park your bike and just get into the routine of plugging it in. I love that its a 24 hour loop on the video.

    New seatpost camera

If the price was right, I'd buy one just to have a recording if something were to happen. If someone hit me and then made some bogus claim that it was my fault or unavoidable and that wasn't the case, I'd sure be glad to have some video evidence to back it up. Or if someone hits you and then...

    Allamuchy, Mahlon, or wawa

Yeah, other than at the lake and around the ranger station parking area, there's no one out there. Love it.

The weather turned out to be looking really solid for this weekend. Enjoy the ride.

    Allamuchy, Mahlon, or wawa

On the western side, yes, but I wouldn't bother without gps or a guide. If you look at the jorba map, you could do a loop on white and incorporate some of the other marked stuff, but you'll be missing out on most of the ssp goodness.
