PSA on the Rain - and how to know how much it has rained everywhere

careful of the ads, these are the buttons that you use to navigate (not the blue links at top, but a bit further down the page):

you can change the time period and zoom in the NE US
after that you can zoom right down to the park you are interested in.

this website...https://www.njweather.org/data/daily/3397 which is NJ specific, gives you a tabular data view of precip...no ads either!

so, for example, you can see that y'day, howell NJ got over 1.5" of rain between 6pm and 8pm...sheesh

the site has a bunch of other NJ specific climate and weather related stuff for anyone so inclined...

I used to use it all the time. now the website sucks, no matter where I log in.

wunderground = weather channel = IBM = poorly maintained and managed, this is what happens when its not the primary property in that space, it'll die soon in favor of the Weather channel app/site.

yup this is why i started using it too, mine is only 2.5 years of data, but still substantial
