The shells are threaded to each other. Tightening pulls them in. Then bearings go in

Check the ytube. I think the shells get lube and the threads get medium lock. I just look at mine, and don't ride it cause lazy

Since it’s a hard tail, easier to figure out where the creaking is coming from compared to a FS(call me Mr. Obvious). Besides the noise, how did you like the way the RDO handled Hartshorne?

Funny that. I believe the RaceFace cranks that I installed on the Fug had the same problem with the spacers, turns out they source their carbon in the US, and I believe more specifically from Easton...
