True. It feels slower than I thought it would. Can anyone that rides a road bike tell me how that speed feels. I have to imagine it’s a different experience all together.
Not trying to take anything away from you.... but could it be a strava goof like mine?True. It feels slower than I thought it would. Can anyone that rides a road bike tell me how that speed feels. I have to imagine it’s a different experience all together.

A 30 pound fat bike is not a big deal as it essentially feels like a motor cycle(like what @grilledcheeseking said). I was interested to know what it feels like on a 16 pound road bike. Reactions range from fun to terrifying. Think I will stick to off road as it appears safer

To me, skinny wheels with high psi at high speeds is scary AF because you feel every little bump. You go over a pebble and you feel it.A 30 pound fat bike is not a big deal as it essentially feels like a motor cycle(like what @grilledcheeseking said). At first I thought your speed was 70.3 mph before reading the paragraph ?I feels awesome. I only dabble on the road, but this was during the bike leg of Ironman Lake Placid 70.3 in '17 on the descent from L.P. to Keene. Couldn't get the bike to go any faster. Did have to deal with other racers on the course. At that speed there was no way "on your left" could be heard. Don't remember being passed by anyone.

I used to run minimum 90 when I had the roadieI run between 8-12psi on pavement with the fatty. What range do people run on a narrow road bike tire?
I have scared myself at 75mph on a Yamaha Waverunner GP1800R, no way on a bike.At first I thought your speed was 70.3 mph before reading the paragraph ?
I usually run 90/95psi with 25c tires with my Clyde body.I run between 8-12psi on pavement with the fatty. What range do people run on a narrow road bike tire?
So would it be fair to say that a CX bike is a road bike fatty?I used to run minimum 90 when I had the roadie
My CX bike is prolly running ~65
Prolly more of a roadie plus bike when it comes to tire size?So would it be fair to say that a CX bike is a road bike fatty?
It is very close to the river and a good route to cross at New Hope and back to NJ at Washington Cross.IOW, somewhere you never heard of and will never ride. What's the fastest you've hit in the sourlands area?
