Slept in until 4:45 today and hit it for another easy hour. This has become my default "flat" loop which is needed from time to time (been abusing it lately however).

I'm off until Monday, so I'm hoping to do a few normal rides.

That’s good to hear they weren’t copperheads, which are numerous up in the rocks at the Gunks, I always go to that rock outcropping on Lake Awosting and hang out with my 5 yr old.

Today I was by myself, and I sat there for 45 min before two of them started to crawl out by the crack next to me...I decided that was a good a time as any to leave!

18/31 was a nice easy ride with my 5 year old son. He was on vacation with mom for the last week but I had to work so I couldn't go. It was nice to spend some time with him now that they are home.

Day 18 - what a beautiful day in Central Jersey. Took it easy again giving my back and knee a break. Will be in LBI next week. Any suggestions other than out and back to Barney or Holgate and a day trip to Allaire?

July 18 - did manage to get a "regular" after work ride in today. Unfortunately, no pictures since my phone's camera decided it wasn't going to cooperate today. A shame as the river was looking rather pretty this evening from the boat launch.

Losing track of days
Day 18 - Just sped through 6mr, dirt was great. Lots of wildlife chilling on the edge of the farmland.
Day 17 - Did the normal loop way too fast trying to avoid rain while being rained on. No fun, I have to plan ahead better.
Day 16 - Chimney rock
Knees are getting very sore, might be time to look into a brace or two.

Day 18 and still going.... we took the Mary's out to the local park and on the path by the river. Rode for 1:11 and even ran some errands. One of these days we won't be time crunched and I'll remember to take a pic...
