going to Shanghai for two weeks, there's a craft beer thing going on there as well, interested in whether it's a trend or a change in beer culture like what's going on here in the states.
I was hoping to get two cases but it will top the carry-on limit already with a case, so most likely 36ish beers max, since United is still only allowing one checked baggage.
The pic was just a weigh-in. At the moment, I'm planning to use this line up
- Bright
- KBS
- Mylar bags
- something from Kane
- something from Finback
Carry on limit?
Are you packing some of these in your carry-on?
If so, I will drive you to the airport, and escort you to security,
and will take everything TSA makes you get rid of.

Better yet just leave it here with me and I will send it for you, no problem, I do it all the time. For free too

Love Shanghai!! you can find some ok beer there...the problem is when you go DEEP...in China you pervs....

just think of it as water...i drank ton of Tsingtao cuz I didnt trust the ice cubes or the water!!! either that or HOT TEA, but not when its in the 80s-90s and humid!

this one sucked ass though!

Snow beer is the most popular beer in China by a long shot and worldwide, I agree its sucks

Boxing Cat is probably considered the "best" brewer in China at the moment and located in Shanghai and started by a Chinese American restaurateur

My wife has been to Boxing Cat, she wasn't a fan, but I've yet to go
I'll be visiting about 15-20 breweries/bottle shops while there for my experiments

had no idea about Boxing Cat and that SNOW was the most popular, I would've thought Tsingtao, but yeah maybe Tsingtao is just on the east coast where most of the EX-PATS are

Is there an underground beer thing there? Brewers like Tree house, OH, Tired hands...stuff you can't get in stores only at the brew house?
If so maybe we can send Jimmy there occasionally to pick us up some 4.5 brews.
