Saturday AM: wife kicked ass at another half marathon (maybe she'll actually try training for the next one so she's not always in 2nd lol)
Saturday early PM: helped buddy build his bike and adjust fit

Sunday AM: Trying to solve truck vibration
Sunday PM: Shakedown of said friend and bike. Strong roadie, will be much stronger at sprinting after playing in the woods for a few weeks

A friend took pitty on me since it was my birthday last week, and agreed to go bike packing. I used the fat bike, and he used my 650B+.
We started from my place in Rockaway and took portions of the West Morris Greenway and Patriots Path all the way to High Bridge and camping at Spruce Run State Park .
On our way Saturday, it was drizzle and wind all day. After dinner in town, we headed to the park with clearing skies and blustery winds.
It was a nice campsite with two large pine trees and a bed of needles beneath. We oriented our bivies behind the large tree trunks to block the wind which sounded like a freight train......all night.
To quote Kaz "There is nothing like a goods night sleep, and that was nothing like a goods night sleep."
Pack up at 7 in clear skies and warming temps then
Breakfast at Gronsky's for the return trip.

Such a busy weekend. Accomplished a lot. Good friends, good food, and good racing.
My house is an almost complete gut job renovation right now, so to take advantage of all the open walls and ceilings, I'm running Cat6 cable, Coax, and in wall speaker cables myself. Spent most of Saturday and a few hours Sunday night doing this.
Dinner Saturday night with friends in town. Paella Night!!! Enough for 50 people.....
