Tire check please. Are these OK to ride on?

I just put these slicks on my old Trek to ride around town. They are old in life (10 years?) but never really used. No cracks or anything. When I inflated them the fabric edge that protects the rubber from the rim curled out in a lot of places. i'm not quite sure if it is delaminating or not. Are these safe to go on or should I just get a new set?

when in doubt, just get a new set of tires. its the one thing that touches the pavement, i wouldn't risk it!
