Thursday 7/28-Mon 8/1 Sterling Forest State Park http://www.nynjtc.org/view/trail-crew-outings?field_crew_name_value=Palisades
Put this into google maps. 41.207060, -74.239828
Otherwise, on Long Meadow Road, just north of the Sterling Lake is a big mulch pile operation. Just north of that is a lot on the same side of the road (right). Park in that lot. Trail starts in the back right by the decrepit shed and goes in front of the pond that you can see using Google Earth. Progress was only about 200 yards into the woods along the woods road as of last Sunday afternoon.
Check out the south end of the trail too. Park at the Red Back trail lot on South Gate Road for that.
Dirty Thursday Ringwood--7/28 @pixychick and others will be heading back to Ringwood State Park to work. This Thursday meet at top of Skyline Dr lot by 4pm. If you arrive later, ride or walk north on Cannonball Tr to just past where it crosses Skyline Dr. heading towards Ringwood State Park. Please rsvp for tool count. rvcc@jorba.org

Pivot Demo Day at Tenafly Bicycle Workshop

Back the truck up again. This time Pivot will be coming to TBW with their entire fleet of bikes! Come ride one of these great bikes on our local trails. Come and see what true hospitallity is like when you have a burger (veggie too) and a beverage waiting for you when you return from your ride.

Saturday 7/30 We (@fidodie & friends) are doing a friendly road ride (14mph) on Saturday - 40 miles, 8:30 out of Branchburg. Bring a dish and some drinks and a good attitude to follow at a pool party. Party over at 3:00 - you can go to the QuickCheck balloon fest afterwards. Couples/kids (well behaved?) welcome for the ride and party. PM @fidodie for details.
