Hunting Season in WMA's 2015-2016

For safety reasons and to avoid interference with hunting activities, access for off road cycling is reduced between September 15th and March 1st. Monday through Saturday, only the Wildcat Ridge Trail (Yellow) may be used. There are no riding restrictions on Sunday though Hunting is still permitted. Cyclists should make reasonable effort to avoid hunters and wear bright colors to increase visibility.

North Jersey expanded bear hunt, adding 633 squares miles to what was a 1,000-square-mile zone, starts on Monday December 7th and will last through Saturday.

I would beg to differ, your measly .015% towards taxes of WMA is nothing compared to what outdoor sportsman pay annually for License fees to hunt, fish, stock and BUY open space. You are now informed...
