Bear sighting last Sunday

saw a bear, medium size one. probably half a mile east of the swimming area. watch out.

no chart , just guessing. its probably around 200 lbs.

no matter how big it was, to me a bear is a bear.

There was a 400 pounder at Way Way this morning and the rangers went lookin' for it with shotguns with rubber bullets.

There was one at Mtn Creek yesterday (probably several), and no one did a thing about it. The black bears will not bother you....

yeah i've seen the one at the tourne. he/she pretty much just hangs around. about 2 1/2 feet to the shoulder.
Also saw a family of bears at Mtcreek for last year's scramble.
don't bother them they wont bother you. just try to make sure you don't catch them coming around a bend and spook them
