Also I am doing a test today to see how long the dish will last on a Goal Zero lithium battery. I started at 10:29am and the battery is down to approximately 60%. It uses around 50 watts without any network activity. Once the router starts routing traffic the wattage increases to around 75-85 watts.

You need to be on the same network as the starlink for the app to work. Just like Zwift, etc.
The app and router don't have advanced features. You really just set the network SSID and password. Plus it has some pre-heat stuff for the dish. You can also "stow" for transport.
