You don't need a map for this place, but it does help to get a look at what is what before heading out just so you have
some sort of idea of which way to head.
The first time I rode 6 mile I was with my fiancee and we got completely lost. It was no big deal, because we eventually spotted some landmarks and made our way back but it is still a bit intimidating to be in the woods with no sense of direction, even if it is a small patch of woods in suburbia.
My map is a product of my effort to learn the trails here. I rode there a few more times and got my sense of direction, but I wanted to put my visualizations on paper to make sure I had all of the dots connected. The problem with this map (or any other trail map) is that it isn't easy to translate your physical location to a dot on a map. Just go out and ride
you'll find your way!
