yeah, not really anymore. I think people were like "ok HBO, nobody is interested in the boobs and stuff anymore." It was seriously like every episode in the first few seasons and tapered off from there. Still a whole lotta murder though.
 
Wait... only 6 episodes this season?
I guess I should start my binge watching this weekend.

This is why I never got into it, porn hub is free why am I going to pay for a porno with a plot? I just see nudity in shows as a cheap way to get ratings.

I think it was more of a leftover HBO programming culture thing. I wouldnt be surprised if HBO pushed the showriters to put nudity in. It's like, hey, we're HBO, so we can show nudity, for the sake of it. I think HBO realized nobody cares about seeing it anymore. It's a pretty epic show with a lot of twists and surprise deaths.
 
I don't think nudity in GOT was just marketing, or at least they made it fit the context. If a scene happens in a brothel, there's going to be naked bodies. During the battle of Winterfell ? Not so much (even though they manage to slip a nude scene in there too). What I find rather hilarious is when in a movie you see a hot, steamy sex scene with all involved completely naked and not a hint of a nipple, pubic hair or penis manages to pop out. Most realistic!
