And Frisbee Golfers (FROLF?) (stay off the course!)
Please do not be rude here. They prefer to call it Disc Golf. ;*l.
Also, Brisbane is a combination of old Fire Cuts and single track with some fire roads. It is a winter alternative for us from wet true Allaire trails but in the summer it is mostly overgrown and loaded with Ticks and Chiggers. The whole loop is about 9 to 10 miles back and forth. More leaf covered ground then then true Allaire but lately someone has been clearing trails with a blower and even a hatchet yesterday was used on the log overs to dumb them down? Dont get it?

weekends are great, but i have better (imo) options closer than allaire on the weekends, the thing about weekdays is its <7 minutes out of the way on my commute home, so the cost is basically nothing to stop for a spin (or dig as it were)
Yeah, its more like that give back thing. If your into that.

yea been doing it all my life, starting with scouts (eagle at 15) just dont have time with life to get to allaire on the weekend, it adds 2 hours to whatever time it takes to make a meaningful difference. More than happy to help out for an hour or two in the evening during the week but weekends just dont work for me that far south. Not even sure how i got tagged in this one to begin with . . .

I know you are not a fan of the "puddle police", a few hours of give back now and then tends to keep them off ones back. I will let you know as the days get longer when we are working out there.

as we all agree there are varied levels of wet, damp trails dont bother me, soaking wet spraying mud do, i dont like replacing parts for no reason, but the "puddle police" as i have become a non-fan are the ones who insist the trails need to be 100% dry before riding, thats just unreasonable(especially with the year we have had), if the trails are wet enough that im doing damage im bailing on a ride. Either way keep me in the loop ill come help out when i can.

Stoked on Brisbane, thank you. I am down for some trail maintenance at Allaire, place treats me well, would be great to help repair/maintain trails in any way I can. Group ride would be cool as well.

What are the chances of riding Allaire tomorrow? I know it’ll be frozen but will it be a skating rink?
