+1 on the Jackbox Party Packs. I bring my laptop with us whenever we see friends or family so that we can play. There is one game in particular, Drawful, that is a HUGE hit with our friends and family.
Spaceteam is a good game that happens in short, easily digestible rounds. You work cooperatively to fix your broken space ship in 5 minutes using shared tools. You can adjust difficulty by making it shorter and adding cards.
If the kids are attached to their phones, they may actually be able to get down with
Weave. Think "Dungeons and Dragons" but you use a companion app to create your character and capture images of the cards that are played to trigger events. Very cool.
We have always been big fans of
Machi Koro, too. Easy to pick up, can apply different strategies, and can also expand it if the base version is boring. You build a city by purchasing different cards, and rolling dice to see the effect of those cards.
We just got some new games that I will report back on.
