That sucks. My buddy got stuck in the down position on thanksgiving. We just kept pulling it up, until it finally stuck in place. I guess they freeze.

If you pull’d it up you’ve fubar’d it. You’ll need to bleed it. This is what reverbs are known for.....

Haha yeah this. I had the same thing happen on a sourlands ride. Since I wasn't carrying a clamp to keep it up, had to abort and ride home in clown bike mode. That was the end of the dropper post on my horsethief.

Sounds like a personal problem

I had reverb issues in the winter as well. I had to rebuild, but see if things resolve in warmer temps.

Just realized your out on a ride. See if what @fidodie says works. I had to ride mine in the down position when it happened to me.

So I was gonna finally install my Fox is this a problem with all droppers in the winter. Should I just wait till spring.

no, never had this problem with my droppers in the winter. but mine arent hydraulic to the lever either . . .

Loosen the clamp and raise it as far as is safe... gotta be better that BMX’n it back to the car.

Reverbs are complete crap. I blew out 2 in a little over 2 years, and since I rarely used it anyway, now have a solid post.

turn the speed adjustment all the way up too.
and check the air pressure in the cold. might be low.
